7-Day Intensive Seminar, Levels One and Two Complete Study in Classic Egyptian Style Dance and the Egyptian Dance Code® (EDC)® including the Fundamental Classic Egyptian Dance Technique using the proven Sausan Method.  Crack the code to authentic Egyptian dance! Level One - Technical Instruction & Interpretation Monday, September 5, 2011 - Sunday, September 11, 2011 Monday, May 28, 2012 - Sunday, June 3, 2012 Level Two - Choreographic and Improvisational Application Monday, September 12, 2011 - Sunday, September 18, 2011 Monday June 4, 2012 - Sunday, June 10, 2012 Each 7-Day Intensive Seminar features four hours each day of actual hands-on training (seven hours on the last Sunday) for a total of over 30 hours with six two-hour extra-curricular lectures following each dance lesson.  These mini lectures are also open to the non-registered public and will include information about the following: Culture and History The Lives of the Late Great Egyptian Belly Dancers Standards in Egyptian Music Working with a Drummer Regional Dances of Egypt Finger Cymbal Application Cane/stick Dancing Those wanting to take the 7-Day Intensive Seminar Level Two must have completed the Level one prior to registering for Level Two. Offered to adult women only.  No exceptions. Intermediate to advanced students preferred.
